Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Zhumagaziev should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting -Alexis- a goal with 41 minutes of the match played. 0 - 0 was the score after the first half. -Alexis- claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

The home crowd breathed a collective sigh of relief when J. Miró was unable to put the ball in the net after his show of skill down the left 51 minutes into the match. He was seen beating the pitch in frustration at missing such a good chance to give his team the lead! Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 61 minutes into the match, and J. Miró wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. KGzz's counterattacks created a good chance for R. Jiménez on the right after 67 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. B. Kurmanbekov got a fingertip on J. Morales's shot from the left 77 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Good work by the KGzz defensive line after 78 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found Z. Salkin Uulu alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. -Alexis- enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

KGzz's best player was B. Kurmanbekov. On the other hand, E. Omurzakov's play was disheartening. A. Delgado performed admirably for -Alexis-. T. Beitners turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
