Rosse 12 - 0 DVE-Trajanus (328167624)

11007 spectators arrived at de Molenwiek, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Bernardo Layseca was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Louis Mühren and Jan Danielsson. Rosse started off with a 3-4-3 lineup. They fielded: Frisenna - van Kessel, Lukarski, Tornlund - van der Grinten, Ramos, Sestig, Fraviga - Alfaro, Mathiasson, Bording.

DVE-Trajanus had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: van Oudheusden - Wolvensberg, Wiegers, Boven, Litjens - Cleven, van Duivenvoorde, Titulaer, Buurman - Rietveld, Schweigman.

Rosse took the lead 3 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as M. van Kessel elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. That Rosse's T. Mathiasson has the ability of doing what no one expects him to do was shown as he ran over an opposing defender, snatched the ball and passed to B. Bording who hit it hard into the wide open goal after 8 minutes: 2 - 0! After this, you could see that the players of Rosse were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Rosse's I. Lukarski increasing the lead to 3 - 0. With 27 minutes played, T. Tornlund of Rosse fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. With 33 minutes played, Rosse's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to T. Tornlund he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 4 - 0. I. Titulaer behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 34 minutes as he gave the ball away to J. Ramos. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. 35 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as C. Fraviga broke through, making the score 5 - 0 for Rosse. 38 minutes in, Rosse's M. van Kessel received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. J. Litjens of DVE-Trajanus had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. J. Wentholt came in to finish the match. With 40 minutes played, Rosse put themselves up 6 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. van Kessel, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The teams went for the halftime break at 6 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Rosse, with 77 percent of the ball.

B. Bording increased the lead for Rosse to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, T. Mathiasson got himself booked. The manager of Rosse was not happy. Rosse made it 8 - 0 as J. Ramos got a touch to the floated corner kick and flicked the ball to C. Fraviga who whipped a low drive in off the far post. Rosse's T. Mathiasson increased the lead to 9 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 70 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as Q. Sestig broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 10 - 0 to Rosse. Rosse solidified their lead at the 76 minute mark, as T. Mathiasson dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 11 - 0. The score became 12 - 0 at 80 minutes into the game, when Rosse were given a penalty which M. van Kessel blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance! That made three goals for M. van Kessel and he was marked down for the hat trick. With 83 minutes gone, Rosse's T. Tornlund had to leave the pitch after talking back to the referee and receiving his second booking. Rosse enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 84 percent of possession.

The most dominating Rosse player was without a doubt P. Alfaro. However, D. Frisenna made a disastrous appearance. Most important DVE-Trajanus player was H. Schweigman. On the other hand, P. van Oudheusden's play was disheartening. The match ends 12 - 0.
