Dark skies made the crowd of 12050 at Bolha fészek a little nervous, but the rain held off. Paweł Klaczka was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Fredrik Tillskär and Szilveszter Dénes. After 22 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed E. Briceño to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. E. Briceño of Savaria received a yellow card after 23 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. An amazing free kick flew past the home keeper 24 minutes into the match, putting Savaria ahead 0 - 3. H. Berchtenbreiter was the scorer. After a short break after 25 minutes, Savaria seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Savaria lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. P. Jánosy received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Savaria fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. H. Klintbo increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. 0 - 5 was the halftime score. Savaria claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

With 61 minutes played, Savaria put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was J. Heikkilä. E. Briceño of Savaria seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 7 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by H. Berchtenbreiter. The Savaria players could smell victory in the air. F. Abrantes wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for M. Kurzbach after 70 minutes. 70 minutes into the match, E. Briceño came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. T. Eszenyi received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 74 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. 75 minutes into the game, Savaria were awarded a penalty and H. Berchtenbreiter was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 8 rolling the ball in by the right post. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for M. Kurzbach who increased Savaria's lead to 0 - 9. Some fine movement on the left led to a Savaria goal after 81 minutes, making it 0 - 10. U. Fröbo was noted down as the scorer. U. Fröbo left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. H. Cortenrade was the replacement. Savaria enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Most important Focitanoda player was K. Spielvogel. D. Rácz on the other hand, had a terrible day. C. Lasierra performed admirably for Savaria. On the other hand, S. Rajk's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 10.
