The crowd of 12000 turning up at inter_mk Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Roberto Holgado was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Niko Visala and Bronislav Pyzhyanov. inter_mk had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Cvetkovski - Gjoreski, Luçi, Bojchevski, Eminovski - Sukloski, Zafiroski, Cherepnalkovski, Trifunov - Kasamaj, Suloti.

G. Vučetić did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Barca's B. Maniscalco after 11 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. With 21 minutes played, I. Cherepnalkovski of inter_mk fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The visitors added to their lead 22 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Barca's B. Maniscalco slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 2. After this, you could see that the players of Barca were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. A drive down the left side allowed D. Dzaurov to get in close and score another goal for Barca after 23 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 3. The home crowd was not impressed when J. Platts came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 24 minutes. Barca were now up 0 - 4. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Barca had most of the ball, with 86 percent of possession.

After 63 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Platts who increased Barca's lead to 0 - 5. After 79 minutes, Barca's I. Loftsson burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6. B. Maniscalco increased Barca's lead to 0 - 7 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. That made three goals for B. Maniscalco and he was marked down for the hat trick. Barca's D. Dzaurov made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 85 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. 87 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 8 as M. Mori finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Barca enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 88 percent of possession.

inter_mk's top performer was clearly J. Eminovski. On the other hand, V. Bojchevski's play was disheartening. Barca's best player was D. Dzartevski. R. Bartholomay was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 8.
