RKarlis's Z. Saniņš got himself booked for a foul. A loud groan was heard from the fans of superstar007, as G. Krikun left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. V. Beloedov took his place on the field. The terraces were silenced after 5 minutes when RKarlis's S. Balodis put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. The crowd chanted their encouragement as superstar007's F. Korzhev came in from the right after 11 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 1 - 1. One of many good crosses from E. Lauciņš on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by K. Lukyantsev, who scored for superstar007. 2 - 1 J. Trukšāns was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, superstar007's F. Korzhev managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 3 - 1 25 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as V. Beloedov broke through, making the score 4 - 1 for superstar007. superstar007's counterattack was impressive and was only stopped by a shocking foul. Somehow, the referee's cards remained in his pocket - a terrible decision! R. Janisels's resulting free kick was easily saved by the keeper. After 31 minutes, a long pass from RKarlis's P. Ondrups caught the defence out of position. A. Panich collected the ball, and with the goal at his mercy calmly rolled the ball just inside the post. 4 - 2. With 33 minutes played, I. Primenko could have brought this one home for superstar007 as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Coming from the right, K. Lukyantsev almost managed to score another goal for superstar007, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. 4 - 2 was the score after the first half. superstar007 claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

E. Dābols received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 49 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. The RKarlis free kick 50 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of A. Krotov, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 4 - 3! After 58 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by I. Primenko might have resulted in another goal for superstar007. However, G. Ikmanis made a spectacular save. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave Ž. Sigariovas from RKarlis a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 59 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Things were deteriorating for the away team as superstar007 scored another to make it 5 - 3 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for R. Titovs after 71 minutes. With 79 minutes played, superstar007's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to K. Lukyantsev he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 6 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to superstar007, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

superstar007's top performer was clearly K. Lukyantsev. U. Surautsau was a disappointment, however. RKarlis's best player was A. Verpakovskis. Ž. Sigariovas turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 6 - 3.
