Dark skies made the crowd of 9035 at Stadium R. de Carranza Arena a little nervous, but the rain held off. Apostol had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 32 minutes having been played. E. Murieta was the replacement. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Pinchito enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Á. Tixera delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 48 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on Pinchito's side this time and the ball went wide. After 66 minutes, Pinchito put themselves up 1 - 2, as I. Endara finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. With 79 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, A. Aberasturi needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. With the clock showing 81 minutes played, a great pass from the defensive line of Furianos resulted in a counterattack that was smoothly brought under control by E. Murieta in the centre of the opposition's penalty area, but his finish went high. I. Olalalde was, after 88 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper V. Alfaro made the save. Pinchito claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.

Most important Furianos player was F. Fábregas. V. Alfaro turned in a dismal performance, however. Pinchito's top performer was clearly L. Ríos Picazo. E. Abanos on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 1 - 2.
