With 42 minutes played, TSV GM put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was S. Lauder. At this point, it was obvious that the players of TSV GM lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. A drive down the left side allowed R. van Oostenrijk to get in close and score another goal for TSV GM after 43 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. Lattenknaller's A. Bieglmaier was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 43 minutes. Halftime score was 0 - 5. TSV GM claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 80 percent.

After 78 minutes, TSV GM's R. van Oostenrijk burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 9. This third goal completed a hattrick for R. van Oostenrijk. With 81 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed L. Camaro of TSV GM to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 10. The referee showed Lattenknaller's J. Lüttgen the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The visitors' L. Camaro took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 89 minutes into the match. 0 - 11 for TSV GM. That made three goals for L. Camaro and he was marked down for the hat trick. Possession in this half belonged to TSV GM, who controlled the ball 86 percent of the time.
