Ringen gave the Warrior supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. 30 minutes into the match, Starbird replied and reduced the lead to 2 - 1. A. Garezin scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why A. Garezin found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Starbird tied it all up, 38 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by A. Garezin, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 2 - 2. It was 2 - 2 at the break. Warrior enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

60 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but J. Everaerts, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. F. Klotz would have preferred to play on, but his coach decided otherwise. A. Seceleanu entered the game for Starbird as the match clock showed 69 minutes. A. Espinheiro looked great 74 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' M. Sommarerberg. There was concern in the stands when, at the 76 minute mark, Starbird's T. Yi Da hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Warrior took the lead 77 minutes into the match after a magnificent free kick by S. Burdaev that made the score 3 - 2. Cheers filled the stadium as A. Ringen broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 2 to Warrior. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for A. Ringen. It wasn't a good day at all for C. Kiong Jing. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. 84 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when Starbird's T. Yi Da received his second yellow card and was sent off. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Warrior, with 58 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Warrior player was without a doubt F. Brâncuşi. On the other hand, H Pasupuleti's play was disheartening. Starbird's top performer was clearly M. Sommarerberg. A. Seceleanu on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 2.
