Simic who knocked it in for Marbach. 0 - 2! O. Mamrot got left behind when Marbach's F. Kühnlein made a sudden run forward after 20 minutes, finishing off with a neat strike. 0 - 3! At 27 minutes into the game, Główczyn's E. Saukkoriipi deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 1 - 3. R. Schrader-Graf was, after 37 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper K. Kluk made the save. After 43 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Jové who increased Marbach's lead to 1 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Marbach were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. It was 1 - 4 at the break. Marbach had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

The visitors' F. Kühnlein took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 56 minutes into the match. 1 - 5 for Marbach. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave O. Mamrot from Główczyn a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 60 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Maza had a good opportunity to reduce the scoreline for Główczyn with a chance created through the middle, but wasn't cool enough. The referee showed Marbach's C. Jové the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Marbach enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.
