Foxania had a chance to take the lead after V. Möllerfors's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 36 minutes. Langer showed their counterattack skill 37 minutes into the match by breaking through the middle, with I. Cocito scoring uncontested for 1 - 2. 38 minutes in, Langer appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. R. Külz was called on to replace Foxania's L. Jacques after 39 minutes following a nasty collision. Foxania's H. Rettich almost tied things up with 41 minutes played after breaking through on the right, but his shot deflected off the post. Rettich made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 2 - 2. 43 minutes into the game, Langer seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a weak level of organisation. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Foxania, who controlled the ball 67 percent of the time.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Langer had passable organisation. Foxania took the lead 68 minutes in, as Z. Kenyér broke through on the left and put the 3 - 2 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper. Z. Kenyér acted with superior experience when, 69 minutes into the match, he predicted a pass, intercepted it and then finished off with a goal. 4 - 2 for Foxania! After this, you could see that the players of Foxania were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Foxania had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

R. Eigenrauch performed admirably for Foxania. On the other hand, S. D'Agostino's play was disheartening. Langer's top performer was clearly J. Basit. C. Pralad turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 4 - 2.
