Dark skies made the crowd of 49262 at Nuevo Manuel Azaña a little nervous, but the rain held off. It might be a while before the fans see Pepino's L. Saenz Rubio again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 55 minute mark. He was replaced by E. Lambertz. Coming from the right, J. Sylander almost managed to score another goal for Crucifijos, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. Crucifijos managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when M. Stănescu cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 62 minutes, Crucifijos tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper.
