He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Querenburg lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. T. Usai received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 40 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Querenburg fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 41 minutes Spvgg's H. Guitierrez-Paesold limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Querenburg, with 79 percent of the ball.

After 50 minutes, Querenburg raised their score by one when T. Pind's dangerous low cross was cleverly tucked in at the near post by J. Bezombe. 0 - 5. With 62 minutes played, E. Nannhofen nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. E. Weder increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 6. Querenburg increased their lead after 67 minutes when A. Couzy broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. With 80 minutes played, Querenburg put themselves up 0 - 8 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was T. de Sousa. The home crowd was not impressed when T. de Sousa came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 81 minutes. Querenburg were now up 0 - 9. Spvgg's J. Grosse left the field after 84 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was P. Salzwedel. Possession in this half belonged to Querenburg, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

Most important Spvgg player was F. Reepschläger. É. Schlender on the other hand, had a terrible day. Querenburg's top performer was clearly T. Pind. E. Nannhofen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
