Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Odessa Stadium saw a crowd turnout of 23701. Audaces displayed their ability to play creatively. Audaces had a good opportunity to take the lead as H. Leroi came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of G. Braghini. The guests almost went up by a goal after 29 minutes when S. Pollicino came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Cabroski's S. Pollicino after 38 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Cabroski claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.

With 51 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed S. Pollicino of Cabroski to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. L. Dior tried to get a goal back for Audaces but despite all his hard work down the right, he just couldn't complete the move. With 75 minutes played, Cabroski put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was S. Pollicino. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for S. Pollicino. As the match clock hit 76 minutes, Cabroski regrouped to try and keep their initiative in the game. A. Karlsen high-fived G. Braghini as they swapped positions on the team. The crowd groaned when S. Sonaglia, having maneuvered his way down the right, fired the ball just wide and missed a great opportunity to reduce the deficit for Audaces. Cabroski's N. Belciug was shown a yellow card after 83 minutes for slicing down an opponent. After 84 minutes, Audaces's G. Mac Dónaill fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! P. Mambretti received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The Cabroski fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The players of Cabroski now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. A. Rieto came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over P. Popa but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Cabroski, with 57 percent of the ball.

Audaces's top performer was clearly V. Markkinen. On the other hand, G. Mac Dónaill's play was disheartening. S. Pollicino performed admirably for Cabroski. P. Mambretti turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
