Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 33704 to KoLo ReStAuRaNt. Giuseppe Di Giorgio was the appointed referee. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for KiSeRiK. Ferda struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Nets, with 65 percent of the ball.

After 70 minutes, the Nets coach wanted to see a new face on the pitch, waving R. Udička off the field. S. Ďurčány took his place. B. Martincsek gave the visitors the lead 74 minutes into the match to make it 1 - 2. The goal was scored from the penalty spot after a handball in the penalty area. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Nets coach let R. Peterovský replace M. Myjavec after 74 minutes. S. Ďurčány received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 76 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Nets fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 81 minutes, Nets's R. Peterovský burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. The coach of Nets was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up.
