Teate89 1 - 2 Pietralata
(362253566)

06-12-2011 19.05
The 1212 fans in attendance at
Guido Angelini were roasting in the hot sun.
Valentīns Cinis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Carlos Zuñiga Niño and
Philip Mott.
Teate89 tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Bonfante - Gallitelli, Baroncini, Trudu - Rieto, Conidi, Spicola, Loks, Caterisi - Cusin, Brøndum.
Pietralata had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Citro - Anken, Knechtl, Karolik - Crispino, Skłodowski, Adrianopoli, Katsonis, Holtan - Blust, Emili.
Teate89 tried to focus their attacks down the middle.
A lunatic dribble by
A. Skłodowski, in front of his own keeper, set up Teate89's
M. Cusin for an embarrassingly easy strike after 5 minutes. 1 - 0!
33 minutes into the game Pietralata's
A. Adrianopoli found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1.
E. Cantone was called on to replace Pietralata's
A. Skłodowski after 34 minutes following a nasty collision.
Pietralata had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 40 minutes in when
A. Adrianopoli came up alone against
G. Bonfante who managed a block.
The sun seemed to put
E. Cantone in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
Y. Katsonis came close to putting the visiting team one up 44 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but
G. Bonfante managed to tip the ball to a corner.
After several obvious shirt pulling incidents,
R. Emili got himself booked. The manager of Pietralata was not happy.
1 - 1 was the halftime score.
Pietralata enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.
R. Emili sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
F. Knechtl after 59 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 2.
A late sliding challenge from
R. Emili was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him being sent off, and Pietralata left a man down.
There was no way Teate89's
C. Trudu could continue to play after this, and no replacements were available!
Possession in this half belonged to Pietralata, who controlled the ball 73 percent of the time.
Teate89's top performer was clearly
V. Brøndum.
H. Loks was a disappointment, however.
Pietralata's best player was
E. Cantone.
F. Knechtl on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 1 - 2.
