KIRIAT decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. They fielded: Vázquez - Eitani, Shirazi, Osher - Niffenegger, Ziganshin, Gottlieb, Ceausu - Kattash, Sela, Adin.

-*DreamTeam*- showed off their creative tactics. -*DreamTeam*- fans held their breath as D. Van Veldhoven scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! E. Pierro received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 27 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. KIRIAT levelled the score after 29 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as B. Sela struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to A. Pérez, but the -*DreamTeam*- player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 2 - 1! The referee showed -*DreamTeam*-'s L. Apeiztegi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. -*DreamTeam*-'s E. Pierro was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 43 minutes. After 43 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to KIRIAT's R. Eitani being carried off the pitch and replaced by N. Ilay. It was 2 - 1 at the break. -*DreamTeam*- claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

The home team will be cursing M. Shirazi for weeks; he finished off a great pass from the left, knocking it past the keeper without a problem. The match was level at 2 - 2 after 67 minutes. Several players seemed a little dazed by the warm weather, and were repeatedly tricked by the clever and agile D. Kattash. Some great play up the middle by -*DreamTeam*- led to a chance for J. Quijada to score after 73 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. With 78 minutes played, J. Quijada of -*DreamTeam*- fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. There was concern in the stands when, at the 81 minute mark, KIRIAT's D. Adin hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. Many thought L. Apeiztegi ought to have been awarded a penalty 83 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around H. Vázquez after a determined run through the middle. The corner kick from G. Ceausu was powerfully met by the head of N. Ilay to make the score 2 - 3. With 85 minutes gone, -*DreamTeam*- had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, C. Galaz did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. -*DreamTeam*- had most of the ball, with 66 percent of possession.

-*DreamTeam*-'s top performer was clearly L. Apeiztegi. Á. Ferreira on the other hand, had a terrible day. D. Kattash performed admirably for KIRIAT. However, P. Gottlieb made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 3.
