Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 3329 to FC Ognina Arena. Manuel Stalder was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nireas Ioannidis and Achraf Tahiri. Bacherotti alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 44 minutes, the defensive line of Ängsan created a counterattack through the middle that gave P. Norren a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. After some beautiful movement down the left wing, D. Diletti scored for Ognina putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 44 minutes. 1 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Ognina, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

A review of the gameplan helped Ängsan get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. 47 minutes into the game, Ängsan seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. 55 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as O. Douroudakis broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for Ognina. With 56 minutes of the game having been played, G. Di Ciommo received a blow to the hip in a collision and was unable to continue. Ognina, with no available replacements, now faced the prospect of finishing the game with a reduced number of players. A field player had to replace the goalkeeper, and this difficult task fell to D. Diletti . P. Lind nearly reduced the lead 61 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by D. Diletti prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net. With 62 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Ognina resulted in a counterattack that set C. Spagnulo free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. Ognina solidified their lead at the 63 minute mark, as A. Bacherotti dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. With 71 minutes played, C. Ciciulla could have brought this one home for Ognina as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high. Ognina enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.

S. Della Giovanna performed admirably for Ognina. D. Diletti on the other hand, had a terrible day. Ängsan's top performer was clearly L. Grießinger. However, R. Uttermo made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
