Lang placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. The referee showed kgb--83's H. Kallel the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Kuusysi were forced into a substitution as S. Lang couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing S. Peräsaari to come in off the bench. S. Valle came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over O. Lecointe but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Coming in from the right, kgb--83 had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 10 minutes, but I. Muscă's attempt to finish was easily stopped. After 15 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as kgb--83 found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to solid. With 17 minutes played, S. Valle nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The visitors' S. Peräsaari took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 19 minutes into the match. 0 - 2 for Kuusysi. 35 minutes in, kgb--83 appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. After 40 minutes kgb--83's H. Kallel contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Kuusysi had most of the ball, with 85 percent of possession.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of kgb--83 was able to get his message across, and raised kgb--83's organisation to passable. The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed kgb--83's coach gave M. Mellmar the opportunity the player had been hoping for. K. Gène reluctantly left the field. L. David was, after 54 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper O. Lecointe made the save. After 55 minutes, the defensive line of kgb--83 created a counterattack through the middle that gave J. Dieudonné a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. L. Lecossois of kgb--83 received a yellow card after 60 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Kuusysi increased their lead after 71 minutes when V. Vamzis broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for L. David who increased Kuusysi's lead to 0 - 4. N. Klingler increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. The players of Kuusysi now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Possession in this half belonged to Kuusysi, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.

kgb--83's top performer was clearly M. Mellmar. T. Bache on the other hand, had a terrible day. Kuusysi's best player was N. Sharf. However, J. Viberg made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 5.
