The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 860 had shown up at
cabau team Arena for the match.
Marc de Grip was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jimbo Arheiligen and
Georges Diemer.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for cabau.
They fielded: Breazu - de Lima, Reif-Pöhner, Rivas Pérez - Halcón, Dennehy, Screciu, Angen-Meldynski, Groppo - Giostra, Højer Nielsen.
Furonazo decided to use a 3-4-3 set up.

Given a free kick in a difficult position after 5 minutes, Furonazo tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish.
9 minutes in, Furonazo appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
passable.
0 - 1 was the score with 10 minutes played, after
K. Alkan cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Furonazo.
Furonazo's
J. Fitero was shown a yellow card after 28 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
After 30 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Furonazo found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
poor.
The crowd gasped as
K. Alkan of Furonazo was flattened by an opponent after 35 minutes and had to be carried off.
L. Fernández Somonte came in off the bench.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by cabau, with 55 percent of the ball.
A review of the gameplan helped Furonazo get back to a
passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again.
50 minutes in, cabau's
J. Rivas Pérez received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
In a fantastic display of determination, Furonazo's
F. Valsera forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
J. Gutiérrez wanted to play on, but the Furonazo coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by
M. Entenza.
P. Mährer became the new Furonazo captain.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, cabau's
J. Rivas Pérez was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 72 minutes.
S. Adaimi was given a chance to change things around.

M. de Lima put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 78 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock.
80 minutes into the match, the visiting Furonazo made the score 1 - 2 after
M. Piqueres executed a perfect free kick.
T. Højer Nielsen's speed was clear to see after 81 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released
A. Giostra who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 2 - 2.
82 minutes into the match and the home team took a 3 - 2 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for cabau was

Furonazo had a chance to level the score as
M. Piqueres suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar.
cabau enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.
cabau's top performer was clearly
T. Højer Nielsen.
S. Adaimi was a disappointment, however.
Most important Furonazo player was
M. Normandia.
However,
L. Fernández Somonte made a disastrous appearance.
