FFA 4 - 1 Green
(364962177)

05-05-2012 05.00
Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Nei-Hu Park saw a crowd turnout of 67263.
Nils Ziesenboeck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Rudolf Ransmayr and
Melker Vinmar.
FFA decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Dolara - Lundhquist, Tschammer, Madera - Russo, Koun, Noy, Zemlak, 石匀 (Shiyun) - Mets, Van Lierde.
Green started off with a 3-4-3 lineup.
Starters: Canals - Flueckiger, Drijvers, Loffredo - Dalla Casa, Bünger, Tynilä, 丹风 (Danfeng) - 潤榮 (Runrong) , Trads, Lijerón.
J. Van Lierde gave FFA the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0
FFA's
J. Madera struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 2 - 0 after 37 minutes.
The score became 3 - 0 at 38 minutes into the game, when FFA were given a penalty which
J. Madera blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance!
FFA's
A. Zemlak was shown a yellow card after 40 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
Due to a severely mistimed tackle,
R. Dalla Casa of Green spent some time on the grass writhing in agony before he could get up and continue the game.
The corner kick from
J. Lijerón was powerfully met by the head of
R. Dalla Casa to make the score 3 - 1.
Green certainly deserved a goal after some stunning play down the left, but
R. Flueckiger just wasn't able to finish.
3 - 1 was the score after the first half.
FFA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 61 percent of possession.
After 58 minutes, FFA's
J. Madera found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 4 - 1.
That made three goals for
J. Madera and he was marked down for the hat trick.
67 minutes into the game, Green seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
solid level of organisation.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the FFA coach let
J. Fischer replace
霍. 石匀 (Shiyun) after 70 minutes.
70 minutes into the game, FFA had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
inadequate.
The Green coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.
Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Green manager used a brief break in play after 75 minutes to give the players new directives.
After 76 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
J. Madera might have resulted in another goal for FFA. However,
R. Canals made a spectacular save.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
R. Flueckiger from Green a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 78 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
J. Russo could have increased the lead after 80 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
FFA had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
FFA's top performer was clearly
J. Van Lierde.
J. Fischer was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating Green player was without a doubt
J. Lijerón.
On the other hand,
R. Canals's play was disheartening.
The match ends 4 - 1.
