12000 punters turned up at Zetor Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came. Cristian Popescu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ricco Tännler and Vittorio Sgrava. Zetor had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Bayangol seemed to prefer attacking in the middle. After 15 minutes, Bayangol's T. Ofner made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Bayangol, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. After 16 minutes, Bayangol's C. Kipchak burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when C. Kipchak came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 30 minutes. Bayangol were now up 0 - 3. C. Kipchak came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over M. Dash but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With 34 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed F. Wissiak of Bayangol to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4. The players of Bayangol now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The referee showed Bayangol's T. Ofner the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. E. Tebtengri's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Zetor, he bravely continued in the match. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Bayangol had most of the ball, with 83 percent of possession.

The visitors' S. Subiras took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 48 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for Bayangol. One of many good crosses from N. Magsa on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by A. Tebtengri, who scored for Zetor. 1 - 5 Bayangol players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead. After 64 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for N. Decrans who increased Bayangol's lead to 1 - 6. E. Temuge of Zetor received a yellow card after 65 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. E. Bumbyn received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 72 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 7. The Bayangol fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After 77 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave F. Wissiak a chance to increase the lead for Bayangol, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 8. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Bayangol, with 87 percent of the ball.

A. Yaba performed admirably for Zetor. However, M. Dash made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating Bayangol player was without a doubt E. Bumbyn. T. Alvarado turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 8.
