It took several tries, but Rapid managed to break through on the left after 83 minutes, getting the ball to G. Rinaldo who easily reduced the lead to make the score 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Rapid, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

Rapid's best player was D. Morega. G. Dihanich on the other hand, had a terrible day. Mosoiu's top performer was clearly R. Hauter. J. Garrido turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
