A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 32665 to ilie oana arena. Pauli Varjomaa was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Rimvidas Girkantas and Allison Migão. Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of TG. Today, st3aua's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. Attacking on the wings was the choice for st3aua, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack. TG could have put themselves ahead after 18 minutes but M. Gkizelidis missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 20 minutes into the game, st3aua's A. Mathurin from TG a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 31 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Uygarlı of st3aua had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. J. Breithaupt came in to finish the match. st3aua's goal to make the score 0 - 1 came via a questionable penalty, but A. Caselas struck it home without a second thought. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to st3aua, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.

52 minutes into the match, T. Koçhan came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. With 80 minutes played, H. Vaida of TG fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The referee showed TG's R. Tovar the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The player down was M. Ruggeri. The st3aua bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. After 83 minutes TG's R. Levy contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. TG's counterattacks created a good chance for B. Sleiman on the right after 85 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar. With 87 minutes having been played, TG scored to make it 1 - 1. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but A. Szántai was marked down as the scorer. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by st3aua, with 53 percent of the ball.

TG's top performer was clearly M. Thompson. On the other hand, H. Vaida's play was disheartening. Most important st3aua player was J. Siimeslehto. B. Panţu turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
