It had rained all day, but 20140 hardy fans still made it out to
۩ Dante ۩.
Tomasz Szumski was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Hans Christian Junker and
Žarko Perutović.

The following players had been chosen: Cabral - Leonte, Ghafouri, Jobard - Giuliato, Miano, Kiilmann, van den Oosterkamp - Frühbe, Van 'T Hoff, Wezold.
Otelul-Galati seemed to prefer attacking in the middle.
20 minutes into the game, Otelul-Galati had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to
passable.
The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like
E. Miano.
Dante had a chance to take the lead after
M. Buzăianu's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 28 minutes.
29 minutes into the game, Otelul-Galati seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
O. Stângă slipped and slithered in the wet grass. His usual rapid runs were nowhere to be seen today.
0 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Dante, with 61 percent of the ball.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Otelul-Galati was able to get his message across, and raised Otelul-Galati's organisation to
solid.
Otelul-Galati's
F. Giuliato was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box -
D. Van 'T Hoff managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 1 after 53 minutes.
Otelul-Galati's
D. Van 'T Hoff was shown a yellow card after 63 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
It might be a while before the fans see Dante's
B. Szypryt again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 64 minute mark. He was replaced by
K. Gana.
After 72 minutes Dante's
A. Eloregui had to be carried off on a stretcher in agony.
V. Jākobsons came in to replace him.
D. Van 'T Hoff didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain.
81 minutes into the game, Otelul-Galati seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
inadequate level of organisation.
M. Iosipescu of Dante received a yellow card after 83 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
