Perţa 37 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to ALCALA. It was 1 - 0 at the break. ALCALA's C. Perţa saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 56 minutes. ALCALA increased the lead as C. Dancea struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their H. Veliu reduced the lead to make it 2 - 1 after 72 minutes, following a pass from the right. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. D. Berloni squirmed through their central defence after 76 minutes, increasing the lead to 3 - 1. By now, the players in ALCALA felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. ALCALA's best player was C. Perţa. M. Piller turned in a dismal performance, however. CSS.Reghin's top performer was clearly F. Stoleriu. On the other hand, A. Borlean's play was disheartening. The match ends 3 - 1.
