Sotirov, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. yosi levelled the score after 31 minutes to make it 1 - 1, as O. Martens struck home after a fine midfield combination through the centre, which left him completely unmarked. Down the middle came O. Martens, making a fantastic play that nearly had yosi take the lead after 36 minutes, but M. Clavijo preserved the tie. After 41 minutes, jugband's M. MacDonaill fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! G. Galvano didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. jugband could have put themselves ahead after 44 minutes but N. Pisanec missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by jugband, with 55 percent of the ball.

The coach of yosi wanted to try to change things around after 55 minutes, and gave new tactical instructions.
