The Shalom bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. With 34 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, S. Strandberg needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. M. Hansson of Shalom was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Shalom increased their lead after 36 minutes when Y. Stav broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. 38 minutes in, Shalom's N. Lavado received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Shalom claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

Attacking on the wings was the choice for Shalom, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
