Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 39253 at Captain Morgan Arena today. Dzintars Nicmanis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Per Paulsson and Antonín Baborák. Dobruska tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Making his way up the middle 3 minutes into the match, G. Kasprowski almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert H. Siemajdan blocked it to keep the score level. With 19 minutes played, Su-z-uki's B. Boerkamp missed an opportunity to put his team one up from the penalty spot, later claiming that "the floodlights blinded him". With 26 minutes played B. Gellei almost put the home team one ahead on a cross coming in from the right, but the shot went just wide. Dobruska broke through on the left 39 minutes into the game, with B. Gellei firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 1 - 0 lead. Dobruska's B. Gellei had an excellent opportunity after 40 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles! Dobruska's B. Gellei increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 41 minutes. Su-z-uki's J. Malčík was shown a yellow card after 42 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Dobruska claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

Dobruska increased the lead as G. Mell struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. The players of Dobruska now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Dobruska put themselves up 4 - 0 when J. Lora broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. Su-z-uki had a fair chance to reply after 76 minutes due to some fine moves down the left, but in the end J. Malčík was slow to keep up with the play and was unable to make it into the penalty box to apply a finish. The home side's G. Mell came close to extending the lead 82 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but H. Siemajdan managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. With 83 minutes played, G. Kasprowski of Dobruska fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Dobruska had most of the ball, with 51 percent of possession.

Dobruska's top performer was clearly B. Gellei. P. Kőnig turned in a dismal performance, however. Su-z-uki's best player was J. Klazar. B. Boerkamp was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 0.
