Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Giant Arena saw a crowd turnout of 32696. Elias Rindt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vuksan Doroslovački and Jonathan Clark. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Hlavní město Praha derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Giant tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. Machielsen cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Stodůlky. The Stodůlky free kick 36 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. A misunderstanding between the visitors' keeper M. Rosbom and his left defence could have resulted in a goal for Giant, but E. Bertaccini's finish was way too lame. Stodůlky's V. Kulich got himself booked for a foul. N. Foncalada of Giant had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. V. Plichta came in to finish the match. H. Levin caught everyone off guard with a great opening pass - but unfortunately R. Hoti was as surprised by the move as anybody else, and managed to miss the extraordinary opportunity. 85 minutes into the match, E. Rus came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Giant's E. Bertaccini soared above the crowd, but couldn't knock the corner home 87 minutes into the match. Giant enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

The most dominating Giant player was without a doubt G. Lerosier. However, V. Plichta made a disastrous appearance. M. Lenghen performed admirably for Stodůlky. M. Rosbom turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
