A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 48170 to Emirati. Jakob Remseck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Herbert Nõmme and Marco Bini. Arsenal tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. They fielded: Berko - Frishman, Dābrais, Huenniger, Valle - Paulin, Ristovski, Postolovski, Levačić, Nafría - Kitanov.

Bresliev of CONCORD took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 24 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. CONCORD had to make a substitution after 26 minutes. L. Bresliev limped off the field and was replaced by T. Mulder. The home crowd was not impressed when T. Trajanov came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 35 minutes. CONCORD were now up 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of CONCORD lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. S. Proevski made a nice dash down the wing after 36 minutes, but was unable to get the cross into the box. A goal kick was awarded. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Proevski got himself booked. The manager of CONCORD was not happy. With 38 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed Z. Dias Graça of CONCORD to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 4. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. CONCORD claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

The referee showed Arsenal's M. Postolovski the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. S. Proevski's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 57 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to R. Amador who knocked it in for CONCORD. 0 - 5! As usual, V. Dābrais tried to use his strength and hard work for the benefit of the team, but the heat hit him hard and he couldn't keep pace at all. 64 minutes into the match, O. Magee came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. M. Postolovski found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. CONCORD increased their lead after 76 minutes when T. Trajanov broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 6, much to the home crowd's dismay. At that, T. Trajanov was noted down for a hat trick! CONCORD increased the lead to 0 - 7 as R. Amador scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner. Z. Dias Graça came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over K. Berko but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. CONCORD enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Arsenal's top performer was clearly D. Frishman. P. Levačić was a disappointment, however. CONCORD's best player was R. Amador. M. Sérot on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 7.
