Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
Čáslavice "B" Arena saw a crowd turnout of 16538.
Alojzy Wieliński was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Marc Schafflützel and
Toke Tingleff.
Čáslavice decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
Starters: Blaas - Sempert, Slavchev, Jagła - Volais, Rougier, Bittrich, Landerie, Ravid - Parkin, Ponticelli.
Hleďsebe tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Vivas - Concha, Martins, Wildsachsen - Golosov, Faye, Robertsson, Forsell, Soyfidan - Tomek, Musil.
For their match strategy, Čáslavice had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
T. Robertsson fired a shot from distance after 11 minutes, but the long shot couldn't find the net for Hleďsebe.
Boom! What a strike by Čáslavice's
G. Parkin! Firing in from 35 yards after 12 minutes, that is probably one of the best goals he's ever scored! 1 - 0.
With 20 minutes played,
P. Musil of Hleďsebe fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
L. Bittrich could have put Čáslavice up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 35 minutes.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
E. Rougier squirmed through their central defence after 36 minutes, increasing the lead to 2 - 0.
Čáslavice's
M. Jagła got himself booked for a foul.
W. Blaas made a brilliant save 39 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from
A. Martins on the right hand side.
2 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Hleďsebe enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 56 percent of possession.
53 minutes into the game, Hleďsebe's attack got through on the right, but
T. Robertsson couldn't handle the ball and his feeble kick wound up in the keeper's arms.
Hleďsebe almost scored after a swift counterattack 63 minutes into the game, but
V. Golosov put the shot from the left flank just outside the goal.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
D. Concha from Hleďsebe a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 67 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
G. Stoica was called on to replace Čáslavice's
W. Blaas after 71 minutes following a nasty collision.

V. Golosov seized on an opportunistic attack from the right, and scored for Hleďsebe making it 2 - 1.
After 80 minutes,
T. Landerie put Čáslavice ahead 3 - 1 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Morale on the visitors' bench was greatly improved when their
J. Forsell reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 after 81 minutes, following a pass from the right.
Hleďsebe had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.
Most important Čáslavice player was
P. Ponticelli.
On the other hand,
G. Stoica's play was disheartening.
Hleďsebe's best player was

However,
