Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 38896 at jk Vanakoolimehed Arena today. Pekka Rahkonen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Marcin Cieciura and Leo Artho. Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this Tallinn derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents. Vanakoolimehed had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. The following players took the field: Madalik - Maksum, Eesmaa, Udal, Hurley, Sinyapkin - Lehepuu, Korsmo, Schaufler - van der Mark, Kandimaa.

Hundu decided to use a 5-4-1 set up. They fielded: Uba - Giani, Laas, Pärn, Peterson, Haav - Kivi, Niidu, Zagaynov, Martini - Desllor.

15 minutes into the game, B. Martini had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. Hundu's U. Haav got himself booked for a foul. Vanakoolimehed took the lead, 1 - 0, after a penalty 31 minutes into the match. K. Lehepuu scored from the penalty spot. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Vanakoolimehed scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. van der Mark after 34 minutes. 2 - 0 was the halftime score. Some things can only be learned through experience, and A. Hurley should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Hundu a goal with 58 minutes of the match played. 61 minutes in, M. Niidu limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. Hundu enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
