Clear skies welcomed the 43608 spectators who had made their way to
Hill Valley.
Tomasz Kroczek was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Kilian Ahlström and
Tijmen Barendregt.
Cannarsa tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Caillon - Alden, Sadurní, Cacace - Novaković, Cama, Menghini, Rocca, Jakobsen - Caddi, Anzalone.
Forze had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
They fielded: Bolinth - Chevallier, Sunesson, Labis - á Kirkjuteigi, Genty, Hirvonen, bin Hussain, Mülhaupt - Schalke, Scharnhauser.
Cannarsa were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks.
For their match strategy, Forze had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
Forze's counterattacks created a good chance for
R. Scharnhauser on the right after 8 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar.
Players in Cannarsa heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
After some beautiful movement down the left wing,
P. Sadurní scored for Cannarsa putting them ahead 1 - 0, after 15 minutes.
B. Cacace almost put Cannarsa ahead another goal when he curled a free kick over the defensive wall and almost into the net, but the visitors' keeper got there just in time to knock it wide.
After 23 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and
E. Caddi gave the Cannarsa supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0.
Halftime score was 2 - 0.
Cannarsa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.
Cannarsa put in a good effort on the right, but
M. Rocca saw his volley fly wide of the mark 58 minutes into the game.
61 minutes into the match, Forze replied and reduced the lead to 2 - 1.
E. Hirvonen scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left.
Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Forze manager used a brief break in play after 71 minutes to give the players new directives.
As the game started to slip away for Forze, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
After 73 minutes, Forze switched
E. Hirvonen with
T. Gunnarsson, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
The Forze players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for Cannarsa, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
Cannarsa's
I. Cama had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 85 minutes having been played.
A. Nosenko was the replacement.
The visitors refused to give in and, after 86 minutes,
M. Schalke evened things up as he finished off a perfect pass from the right. 2 - 2

Cannarsa's best player was
E. Caddi.
M. Anzalone on the other hand, had a terrible day.

R. Scharnhauser.
On the other hand,
G. á Kirkjuteigi's play was disheartening.
The match ends 2 - 2.
