It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 48847 that came out to MIC Arena. Raković had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 20 minutes having been played. M. Japón was the replacement. The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 24 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from A. Longhi, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. P. La Barbera's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Mic enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

54 minutes into the game, Mic were awarded a penalty that P. La Barbera turned into 2 - 0 without a problem. In an effort to secure the lead, Mic changed their tactic after 55 minutes. P. Fortunato couldn't do anything to stop the technically gifted P. Steger as he dodged past on his way to scoring a wonderful goal for Intrepid - 2 - 1! After a short break after 60 minutes, Mic seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. T. Ginex increased the lead for Mic to 3 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After 65 minutes, the Mic players received new instructions from their manager on how to keep in control of the game. Mic's A. Pagnoncelli was shown a yellow card after 82 minutes for slicing down an opponent. F. Ilarduya neatly controlled the ball after a short corner, and knocked it on to M. Franzosi who had the whole net open before him, but only managed to hit the post. Mic claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

Mic's top performer was clearly P. La Barbera. However, M. Japón made a disastrous appearance. Most important Intrepid player was B. Mo Costabella. T. Mors on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 3 - 1.
