Clear skies welcomed the 7000 spectators who had made their way to Lääne-Virumaa Arena. Dávid Székely was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Robbert Tuitert and Thomas Rawald. FCUTD had chosen a strategic 2-5-3 formation. They fielded: Issjö - Hang, Nāsenieks - Aires, Steine, Wirtanen, Pyrlik, Herbasz - Colares, Rafiha, Larsson.

At the beginning of the game, FCUTD appeared to have already taken this victory to the bank. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 2 minutes allowed B. Larsson to score for FCUTD. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. The referee showed FCUTD's H. Nāsenieks the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. P. Herbasz of FCUTD took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 18 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. Lääne-Virumaa's Ü. Kallis had seen it all before, so he waited patiently for the right opportunity. He would get no better chance than the one he took, but his shot was deftly blocked by the keeper. FCUTD's K. Pyrlik made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 21 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. 28 minutes in, Lääne-Virumaa's Ü. Kallis received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. B. Rafiha of FCUTD had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. P. Grön came in to finish the match. 31 minutes into the game, FCUTD were awarded a penalty and S. Colares was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. By now, the players in FCUTD felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Lääne-Virumaa's V. Borichevskiy was shown a yellow card after 35 minutes for slicing down an opponent. K. Steine received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The FCUTD fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. FCUTD claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.

A drive down the left side allowed B. Larsson to get in close and score another goal for FCUTD after 48 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 5. With 51 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed H. Nāsenieks of FCUTD to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 6. The visitors' B. Larsson took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 59 minutes into the match. 0 - 7 for FCUTD. This third goal completed a hattrick for B. Larsson. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave K. Pyrlik from FCUTD a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 64 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! After 70 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for P. Herbasz who increased FCUTD's lead to 0 - 8. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, D. Aires got himself booked. The manager of FCUTD was not happy. The coach of FCUTD was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 75 minutes, M. Bikácsy came on for A. Wirtanen. Possession in this half belonged to FCUTD, who controlled the ball 83 percent of the time.

T. Kivistik performed admirably for Lääne-Virumaa. On the other hand, P. Lõoke's play was disheartening. FCUTD's top performer was clearly S. Colares. P. Grön on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
