Orr made an attempt at equalising 31 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. A. Işıl charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for K.I.P., but the shot went well wide of the goal. K.I.P. were close to equalising with a spectacular free kick by T. Orr after 42 minutes, but G. Pacchiarotti made a great save, tipping it to a corner. K.I.P.'s O. Tokurcun got himself booked for a foul. 0 - 1 was the halftime score. K.I.P. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 54 percent of possession.

K.I.P. put pressure on the visitors' central defence 52 minutes into the game, but T. Orr couldn't find an opening. D. McClure received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 53 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The marypersempre fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. The visitors' D. After this, you could see that the players of marypersempre were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. As the game started to slip away for K.I.P., the manager decided to change the tactical approach. K.I.P. had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.
