The crowd of 29788 turning up at
Hironica Stadium today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain.
Eduard Brázda was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Pepe Kadribašič and
Oliver Goossens.
Hironica started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Starters: D'Onofrio - Romani, Gomucio, Araújo - Schiti, Strøm, Ungureanu, Spinelli, Envangelista - Orella, Cronskog.
Mise tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination.
They fielded: Frasso - Moucha, González, Saccucci - Billmo, Martin, Saeger, Szczygielski - Caçapa, Lafferte, Laudani.
Hironica saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for Hironica, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
After 5 minutes of play,
D. Orella gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
Hironica managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
T. Strøm cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
R. Envangelista spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Hironica to 3 - 0 as
A. Schiti finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
After this, you could see that the players of Hironica were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
The teams went for the halftime break at 3 - 0.
Hironica enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.
T. Strøm increased the lead for Hironica to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
60 minutes in, Mise's
J. Billmo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
In a fantastic display of determination, Hironica's
C. Ungureanu forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
D. Orella had a fantastic opportunity to put Hironica up another goal 65 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
L. Spinelli of Hironica was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
T. Strøm unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide.
The visitors replied 83 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 4 - 1, as
D. Saeger dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper.
A. Schiti sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
P. Gomucio after 84 minutes of play, making the score 5 - 1.
After 85 minutes, Mise sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
E. Caçapa, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 5 - 2.
Things were deteriorating for the away team as Hironica scored another to make it 6 - 2 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for
O. Cronskog after 86 minutes.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Hironica, with 56 percent of the ball.
Hironica's best player was
D. Orella.
However,
T. Strøm made a disastrous appearance.
P. Laudani performed admirably for Mise.
M. Frasso was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 6 - 2.
