Napoletana had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks.
Making his way up the middle 7 minutes into the match,
J. Blaiotta almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert
D. Schiariti blocked it to keep the score level.
Libertini's

Libertini's
T. Mantena's long shot really ought to have found the net 37 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target.

G. Mihaită increased Napoletana's lead to 3 - 1 with a penalty spot cannonball.
By now, the players in Napoletana felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
T. Eylon had a couple of good opportunities to reply, but the home team's keeper
R. Kragt was simply unbeatable.

N. Moesch was a disappointment, however.
