(366160943)

25-02-2012 12.30
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 18722 that came out to
Figino's Arena.
Ole Jenssen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Antonio Gomes de Alvarenga and
Szymon Maćkowiak.
Figino started off with a 4-5-1 lineup.
The following players took the field: Panfilov - Girard, Portillo, Garaz, Scarzanella - Bergianti, Fort, Harth, Hasler, Floeter - Wilmar.
A 2-5-3 alignment was the formation of choice for AZ.
They fielded: Balarezo - Mannazzu, Fekete - Stahlhut, Guarda, Lovrinovič, Nelson, Juhana - Grò, Turino, Lemberg.
Figino saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
As the 1 minute mark approached, the Figino coach decided it was time for a substitution.
G. Hasler reluctantly made way for
E. Dammtor on the pitch.
I. Garaz of Figino seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by
M. Wilmar.
Figino had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead.
Figino's
A. Girard increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 10 minutes.
AZ's
O. Turino was able to reply, after 11 minutes, making the score 2 - 1 with a well struck penalty.
2 - 1 was the halftime score.
AZ enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 59 percent of possession.
The bench was restless, and with 60 minutes passed AZ's coach gave
P. Radomiński the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
H. Stahlhut reluctantly left the field.
As the game started to slip away for AZ, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
The AZ players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.
75 minutes into the game, Figino were awarded a penalty that
M. Wilmar turned into 3 - 1 without a problem.
Figino's
M. Scarzanella had an excellent opportunity after 76 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
The visitors' right side was dangerous today;
P. Radomiński made the home team's keeper look foolish as he easily reduced the lead to make it 3 - 2 81 minutes into the match.
Figino's
I. Garaz got himself booked for a foul.
G. Guarda made a run for the goal 85 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by AZ, with 58 percent of the ball.
Figino's top performer was clearly
M. Wilmar.
G. Panfilov turned in a dismal performance, however.
AZ's best player was
O. Turino.
On the other hand,
S. Balarezo's play was disheartening.
The match ends 3 - 2.
