Casali 0 - 5 STALLION
(366246920)

17-03-2012 12.20
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 11309 to
Sei Casali Arena.
Mikael Nilsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Uzi Nissan and
Markku Hiidenkari.
Fans of both teams had been eagerly awaiting this
Campania derby and were doing their best to outshout their opponents.
Casali had chosen a strategic 5-2-3 formation.
Starters: Carmo - Alcalá, Ưng Túy, Silmu, Hultbeck, Wieser - Husseiny, Krzeski - Block, Feola, Baali.
STALLION decided to use a 4-3-3 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Figueroa - Zanesi, Vermes, Pernambuco, Călinescu - Caixa, Kaldenecker, Miossec - Ginex, Begoc, Argiolas.
Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Casali.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 8 minutes allowed
P. Begoc to score for STALLION. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
STALLION's
M. Argiolas placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but
V. Pernambuco couldn't finish.
After 39 minutes, STALLION's
E. Ginex burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
J. Libra was called on to replace Casali's
F. Baali after 41 minutes following a nasty collision.
Casali's counterattacks created a good chance for
D. Block on the right after 44 minutes, but he could only look on with dismay as his strike rebounded off the crossbar.
0 - 2 was the halftime score.
STALLION claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 82 percent.
A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by
P. Begoc. At last, STALLION's
A. Caixa was able to backheel the ball in. 0 - 3.
The players of STALLION now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
71 minutes into the game, STALLION were awarded a penalty and
V. Kaldenecker was able to increase the visitors' lead to 0 - 4 rolling the ball in by the right post.
P. Begoc could have put his team up another goal 72 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post.
With 80 minutes gone,
E. Feola suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Casali caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
With 81 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience,
D. Zanesi needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed.
The visitors'
P. Begoc took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 83 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for STALLION.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by STALLION, with 82 percent of the ball.
Most important Casali player was
E. Feola.
F. Alcalá turned in a dismal performance, however.
STALLION's top performer was clearly
V. Kaldenecker.
D. Zanesi on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 0 - 5.
