Mascarañas received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 12 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Blasfemia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. By now, the players in Blasfemia felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 37 minutes gone, United had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, J. Perea did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Blasfemia's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 38 minutes gone, but I. Wernli's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. Coming in from the right, Blasfemia had a good opportunity to convert on a counterattack after 42 minutes, but I. da Costa's attempt to finish was easily stopped. 0 - 2 was the score after the first half. United had most of the ball, with 82 percent of possession.

After 46 minutes, United switched M. Serada with P. Barros, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. The home keeper was stunned 55 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by E. Mascarañas and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 3. P. van Bockel missed a penalty after 73 minutes, seemingly unable to stay focused for the shot. Blasfemia caught their opponents out with a clever counterattack down the right wing 78 minutes into the match. H. Getz was able to finish off the move - 0 - 4. United claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 83 percent.

V. Kirchtal performed admirably for United. H. Greco turned in a dismal performance, however. Blasfemia's best player was H. Getz. L. Paes was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
