Balttels 6 - 1 "Baltmuiza" (366396862)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 47859 had shown up at Balttels Arena for the match. Mattias Frederberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jesús Mayorga and Ilario Mazzola. Balttels had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Balttels clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. It was an obvious ambition of "Baltmuiza" to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Balttels took the lead 8 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as Ş. Akarsa elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. After 15 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by C. Damsgård. Balttels had a good opportunity to take the lead as T. Eschmarke came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of A. Nosowicz. Balttels had to make a substitution after 22 minutes. R. Bachs limped off the field and was replaced by M. Vojvoda. 27 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Balttels was M. Vojvoda. Balttels solidified their lead at the 30 minute mark, as T. Eschmarke dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 1. It was 3 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to "Baltmuiza", who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

"Baltmuiza" kept trying to force their way through on the right side and C. Damsgård got his chance after 52 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. A. Korshunov was called on to replace "Baltmuiza"'s D. Grāvis after 64 minutes following a nasty collision. After 66 minutes, Balttels sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached A. Querelle, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 4 - 1. The crowd roared its approval when A. Suprun somehow managed to block a shot which seemed to be a certain goal by "Baltmuiza"'s C. Damsgård 68 minutes into the game. R. Campelo increased the lead for Balttels to 5 - 1, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! At this point, it was obvious that the players of Balttels lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Balttels put themselves up 6 - 1 when V. Molarinho broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. "Baltmuiza" had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.

Balttels's top performer was clearly R. Campelo. S. Mitrev turned in a dismal performance, however. W. Roquete performed admirably for "Baltmuiza". F. Blanco was a disappointment, however. The match ends 6 - 1.
