Things were deteriorating for the away team as Killer`s scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for K. Schlüpfinger after 31 minutes. It was 2 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Killer`s, who controlled the ball 73 percent of the time.

A well-executed free kick by C. Sellier after 53 minutes made it 3 - 0 for Killer`s. Confident in their lead, Killer`s's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. L. Mityushkin increased the lead for Killer`s to 4 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! 66 minutes in, Daugavpils's R. Utāns received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Williams dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0. Killer`s enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 74 percent of possession.
