Galvan caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 11 minutes. This gave Pickwick the 1 - 0 lead. Ariete had a chance to level the score as F. Negrini suddenly found himself free in the middle of the box with only the keeper to beat, but he misjudged the finish, and only managed to hit the bar. The home side's D. Galvan came close to extending the lead 31 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but P. Brichetto managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pickwick, with 54 percent of the ball.

D. Galvan left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 46 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Hingebjerg was the replacement. P. Gramotny made a run for the goal 61 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. J. Hingebjerg unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. The referee showed Pickwick's J. Guardiola the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. D. Sitek of Pickwick was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Pickwick had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Pickwick's top performer was clearly S. Lamprou. A. Natalicchio was a disappointment, however. Y. Yefet performed admirably for Ariete. H. Hamm turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 0.
