In a fantastic display of determination, WINSTROL's J. Jansons forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. WINSTROL managed to extend their lead to 7 - 0 when A. Plyuskov cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. J. Jansons had a fantastic opportunity to put WINSTROL up another goal 75 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The game was close to savage at times, and WINSTROL's V. Moldovanov received a second yellow card after 76 minutes; his ticket out of the game. O. Zelenin's lack of experience almost gave WINSTROL a goal after 77 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. WINSTROL claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

WINSTROL's top performer was clearly A. Burķīts. L. Kononiuk on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating DZR player was without a doubt G. Leitāns. G. Suratov was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
