"Cacas" 0 - 9 Anarchy (366426857)

Dark skies made the crowd of 11588 at Candyland a little nervous, but the rain held off. Dax Binard was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Michael Stoeckel and Gernot Tomic. "Cacas" started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Gailis - Vagoliņš, Gretchenko, Shadrov, Matviychuk - Vīndedzis, Auziņš, Jusis, Olshevskiy - Shabarin, Vasyunin.

Anarchy had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. The following players took the field: Mežinieks - Tarunin, Jurberģis, Lulle, Viesulis - Ceiruls, Aarela, Naskovich, Bendziks - Šiškovičs, Korotkikh.

After 25 minutes, Anarchy's K. Korotkikh made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. A. Naskovich received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 26 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score. After 27 minutes, Anarchy's K. Korotkikh burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 29 minutes in, Anarchy's Y. Tarunin received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Anarchy's G. Jurberģis had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 37 minutes having been played. E. Ludriks was the replacement. Given a free kick close to the byline, Anarchy tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let Y. Tarunin slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 3, 39 minutes into the game. Halftime score was 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Anarchy, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

The visitors added to their lead 49 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by Anarchy's A. Viesulis slid just past the home keeper. 0 - 4. After this, you could see that the players of Anarchy were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Some fine movement on the left led to a Anarchy goal after 55 minutes, making it 0 - 5. Y. Tarunin was noted down as the scorer. 60 minutes into the match, E. Ludriks came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The corner kick from A. Viesulis was powerfully met by the head of E. Ludriks to make the score 0 - 6. P. Aarela received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 82 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Anarchy fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. One of many good crosses from I. Ceiruls on the wing was received and skillfully taken care of by K. Korotkikh, who scored for Anarchy. 0 - 8 That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for K. Korotkikh. P. Aarela of Anarchy took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 86 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 9. Anarchy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

"Cacas"'s top performer was clearly A. Shabarin. V. Gailis on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Anarchy player was K. Korotkikh. E. Ludriks turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 9.
