After 25 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
J. Vouillon who increased phoenix's lead to 0 - 2.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of phoenix lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
B. Formentin received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 33 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The phoenix fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
Just a few inches to the right, and the visitors could have had a goal 38 minutes into the match.
M. Narvate surely wishes he could do that free kick over again.
Periniana's
G. Trabucchi got himself booked for a foul.
With 40 minutes played, phoenix put themselves up 0 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
D. Fumarola.

phoenix claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 68 percent.
Periniana's
G. Rigucci was shown a yellow card after 65 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
D. Fumarola of phoenix took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 66 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 5.
That made three goals for
D. Fumarola and he was marked down for the hat trick.
Content with how the game was proceeding, the phoenix coach let
W. Reutt replace
J. Kapsa after 70 minutes.
After 74 minutes of game time,
D. Aulnette had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
Z. Bretta was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
D. Fumarola left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 75 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
T. Lemercier was the replacement.
A drive down the left side allowed
J. Vouillon to get in close and score another goal for phoenix after 75 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 6.
The visitors'
M. Narvate took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 77 minutes into the match. 0 - 7 for phoenix.
phoenix had most of the ball, with 71 percent of possession.
S. Poggi performed admirably for Periniana.
Z. Bretta was a disappointment, however.
The most dominating phoenix player was without a doubt
