A scorching day at The Poet's Playground, where 7686 spectators were in place for today's match. Francis Hermain was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Janus Bella and Jurrien Vanhove. Poeta mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Intripidissimi were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. A. Bonasio looked great 11 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' K. Lieven. The terraces were silenced after 26 minutes when Intripidissimi's M. Virtuani put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. The head of K. Lieven connected with a corner kick after 27 minutes, and the ball ended up with L. Baroffio of Intripidissimi who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 2. R. Tetes's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. After 32 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed T. Winther to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. The home crowd cheered when, after 33 minutes, G. Bertora's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. 34 minutes in, Poeta's M. Procaccianti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Intripidissimi claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Intripidissimi's A. Di Pasquale got himself booked for a foul. M. Virtuani wanted to play on, but the Intripidissimi coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 67 minutes into the game by J. Aschettino. Speedy S. Gagnon tried one of his patented rushes 68 minutes into the game, but G. Bertora was just as fast and averted the attack. A. Di Pasquale was, after 73 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper A. Bonasio made the save. It wasn't a good day at all for R. Catanzaro. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. A drive down the left side allowed T. Winther to get in close and score another goal for Intripidissimi after 76 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Intripidissimi, with 55 percent of the ball.

M. Violante performed admirably for Poeta. J. Zamorski was a disappointment, however. Most important Intripidissimi player was F. Dujić. L. Baroffio turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
