Pantile of Anconitana received a yellow card after 22 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. inazuma broke through on the left 25 minutes into the game, with F. Fruet firing in from an acute angle to give the home side a 2 - 1 lead. inazuma had to make a substitution after 26 minutes. D. Rumiati limped off the field and was replaced by E. Cappellazzo. inazuma's M. Scalese struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 3 - 1 after 27 minutes. 3 - 1 was the halftime score. inazuma enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 47 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving S. Spreafico completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. M. Lipparini made a brilliant save 75 minutes into the match, blocking a rocket of a shot from E. Coltro on the right hand side. The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 2, as D. Pantile struck home, set up well by a play on the left 76 minutes into the match. inazuma's F. Fruet was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 77 minutes. Coming through the middle D. Pantile almost scored the equaliser for Anconitana after 81 minutes, but M. Lipparini made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. Y. Giberti increased the lead for inazuma to 4 - 2, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! After this, you could see that the players of inazuma were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by inazuma, with 52 percent of the ball.

inazuma's top performer was clearly M. Mazzarotto. On the other hand, M. Scalese's play was disheartening. Anconitana's best player was D. Pantile. However, L. Prigol made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 2.
