The 5881 spectators at Meazzanetti were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Genís Horta was the appointed referee. After thorough analysis and consultation of astrological charts, special-one decided to go with a 4-4-2 formation. The following players had been selected: Fusé - Makowski, Toader, Pecze, Ilieş - Fornas, Brita, Domizi, Enemark - Klingen, Ferolla.

The head coach flashed hand signals from the sideline and GeoGoal formed up in a 4-4-2 combination. Let's hope the opposing sideline wasn't filming that. Starters: Galbassini - Petriello, Lacchini, Palmarini, Littore - Bercini, Esseni, Betta, Canali - Pusceddu, Tombesi.

special-one saw most attack opportunities on the wings by using their formidable ability to push the attack in the right direction. GeoGoal's game plan was to sit back and absorb the pressure, then use their solid ability to break on the counter whenever possible. Almost all the way down at the corner flag, GeoGoal's C. Canali somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for G. Pusceddu, who scored for 0 - 1. Maybe G. Betta should join the aquatics team instead. He went down dramatically after 27 minutes, crying out with agony as he fell. The referee was not impressed, though, and showed him a yellow for diving. 32 minutes into the game, GeoGoal worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. After 33 minutes of play, N. Klingen equalized for special-one after a hard charging attack from the right. Big paper red cards were being held up by the opposing supporters with 37 minutes on the clock after E. Domizi's mistimed tackle from behind. The referee only showed the special-one player a yellow card though. GeoGoal's O. Petriello could have put the guests one up 39 minutes in after chasing a through ball from the right, but G. Fusé was as quick as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose. It was 1 - 1 at the break. special-one set the tempo, maintaining 51 percent of possession.

With 47 minutes played, D. Brita came in from the right with the intention of giving special-one the lead, but his rocket of a shot could only rattle the crossbar. GeoGoal will be without the services of C. Canali for a time, due to a burn from a flare thrown by the opposition's fans at the 72 minute mark. He was substituted by A. Oddenino. I'm sure the management at special-one will be getting a call from the HFA at some point! special-one took the lead 75 minutes in, after D. Brita's awkward, but ultimately successful, shot from the right. 2 - 1. Usually a powerful player on the field, N. Klingen looked rather pale and tired under the hot sun. After 81 minutes, the visitors evened the score after G. Betta made it through the middle and struck home making it 2 - 2. After 86 minutes, GeoGoal put themselves up 2 - 3, as O. Petriello finished off a play from the left with a real rocket. Maybe it was because of his team's lead, or maybe it was due to the ease with which he broke down the left, but G. Pusceddu was a bit too sure of his talents, so instead of taking the easy tap-in goal after 88 minutes, he went for the backheel, which he put woefully wide. GeoGoal were doing a good job holding on to the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

The most outstanding special-one player was without a doubt G. Ferolla. Even six year old fans were wincing at the poor play by N. Klingen today. Most important GeoGoal player was G. Pusceddu. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because A. Galbassini seemed to stumble all over the pitch. The match ends 2 - 3.
